Daikokuya Ramen

/ Tuesday, July 3, 2012 /

My mouth always tends to water over the thought of the pork bone simmered, thick, creamy, flavorful, and comforting, soy-sauce based ramen at Daikokuya. Definitely go here if you want the "ramen experience". The noodles, hardboiled egg, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, and slices of cha siu pork bathe in the delicious broth and is then topped with a generous amount of green onion and a nice sprinkle of sesame seeds. The wait for a table does get really long, so I suggest going at odd hours or having an earlier meal. It's well worth it. There is only one type of ramen at Daikokuya, which is totally fine with me because they've perfected the bowl and everyone loves it.
